Pranas T. Naujokaitis (prahn-us no-you-kite-us) is an illustrator, writer, and cartoonist who is currently based in Chicago. He has a BFA in Sequential Art with a minor in Creative Writing from the Savannah College of Art and Design

In addition to his training in sequential art and writing, Pranas also has a background in book design, printmaking, storyboarding, and self-publishing. For three years, Pranas drew a popular daily webcomic, inkdick, a journal comic about his life and plans to launch his first fictional serial webcomic by the end of 2016.

He already has a number of children's booksunder his belt, most that he wrote and illustrated, including: The Totally Awesome Epic Adventures of the Brave Boy KnightDinosaurs in Space, and The Radically Awesome Adventures of the Animal Princess, all published by Blue Apple Books. A followup to Dinosaurs in Space is scheduled to be released in 2017. Both The Brave Boy Knight and Dinosaurs in Space have already been translated into French editions by the French publisher Didier Jeunesse.

Pranas has also recently done comic work for Kaboom! Studios, including such titles as Adventure Time, Bee and Puppycat, Bravest Warriors, and Regular Show. For them he most recently wrote the six-part Adventure Time Ice King mini-series (with story by Emily Partridge and art by Natalie Andrewson) and wrote and illustrated the upcoming graphic novel Uncle Grandpa in Uncle Grandpaland.

When not working away on freelance illustrator and cartooning gigs, Pranas also creates hand-crafted minicomics known for their creative packaging. He travels the country with said comics in tow to attend comic shows and festivals and sell his wares. Such titles include Beard, the Monster Town series, and Laffy Meal. In 2016 Laffy Meal won a DINKy award for Best Minicomic/Zine and was nominated for an Ignatz Award for Best Minicomic.
